Kachina Lodge Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Grand Canyon, offering easy access to the rim and various activities the Grand Canyon village has to offer. The rooms are clean and spacious, but the bathrooms are on the smaller side. The service from the staff is friendly and efficient, making our stay delightful. Dining at the on-site Harvey House in Bright Angel Lodge provides a great view of the Grand Canyon. Despite the lack of reserved parking, the location saves lots of time, but it can be a hassle for evening dining options outside the lodge.

Staying at the lodge was a mix of convenience and noise. While the location was superb for exploring the National Park, the room facing the parking lot and train depot was a bit noisy compared to the modern rooms nearby. The service was generally good, with pleasant staff, but there were minor issues like landscaping tools left unattended. Dining at Harvey House offered some nice options, especially for poultry dishes, but with mixed experiences like issues with my coffee cup. Overall, a decent stay with some trade-offs to consider.
